We're Celebrating Our Girls All Month Long!
While the world officially marks International Day of the Girl on October 11th, here at the Girls & Boys Clubs of Oakland (BGCO), we're taking the whole month to celebrate!
We are incredibly proud of the girls in our Clubhouses, from West to East Oakland, and are deeply invested in their futures. Every day, we see their talent, resilience, and potential shine in our programs, whether they're leading a meeting, mastering a STEM challenge, or creating incredible art.
This month is dedicated to highlighting their achievements, lifting up their voices, and ensuring they have the confidence and skills to be the next generation of leaders.
We're not just talking about great futures; we're building them together, one day at a time.
