Boys & Girls Clubs of Oakland hosts a few annual friend raisers such as our Salute to Youth, Tee off For Youth, and Oakland Town Ball. These great events spotlight our results and help to sustain the organization’s mission — to develop our community’s youth into positive contributors to society. All proceeds from these events directly benefit the 2,400 kids and teens served by the organization’s three strategically located Clubhouses in West, Central, and East Oakland.

Our Salute to Youth Gala & Benefit Auction is our annual friend raiser typically hosted in the Spring. The Salute to Youth gala features our highest achieving student-members — our Youth of the Year, and representatives from our neighborhood facilities.

Tee Off for Youth

Our Tee Off for Youth Golf Tournament is our annual friend raiser event typically hosted in the fall. The Tee Off for Youth Golf Tournament is a social and fun opportunity for our BGCO supporters to come together, celebrate and share in our mission to provide thousands of Oakland’s deserving youth year-round access to our three safe BGCO Clubhouses and critically needed positive learning & behavioral programs.

Oakland Town Ball

Our Oakland Town Ball is our annual winter event typically hosted in December. The Oakland Town Ball brings together guests from across Oakland and the Bay Area for an evening of celebration of our beloved city, and inspiration to raise the necessary funding for the Boys & Girls Clubs of Oakland.
