This great event spotlights our results and helps to sustain the organization’s mission – to develop our community’s youth into positive contributors to society. Join us in celebrating our youth and welcoming the new leadership with the speaker of the night, Hall of Fame Baseball player, Dave Stewart! All proceeds from the Salute to Youth directly benefit nearly 2,400 kids and teens served by the organization’s three strategically located Clubhouses in West, Central, and East Oakland.

As Oakland kids and families sort through unprecedented, game changing life disruptions-trying to cope with the sudden, unexpected school closures; food insecurity; and the unavailability of quality options for children-Boys & Girls Clubs of Oakland is doing whatever it takes to keep our kids safe; on track academically; and our families provided with hot, nutritious meals during the COVID-19 crisis.
