Green earned a degree and played basketball at Oregon State University. His remarkable NBA career included three championships and playing an NBA record of 1,192 consecutive games. Oakland Running Festival, March 23, 2014
Join Team BGC Of Oakland
For 75 years the Boys & Girls Clubs of Oakland have served tens of thousands of Oakland youth by operating full service Clubhouses for kids when they need them-after school and year round; and where they need them-in three flatland Oakland neighborhoods. The Clubs serve girls and boys, aged 6 to 17 years of age. The Clubhouses provide a safe place for the youth to learn, to grow and to become positive contributors to our community. None of this would be possible without the financial contributions and the volunteer support from the generous Oakland Community.
Boys & Girls Clubs of Oakland take great pride in our history, our kids and our place in the civic fabric of Oakland. Become part of our 75 year history by partnering with us as a runner for TEAM BGC OF OAKLAND. Choose to run the marathon, a half marathon, a 5K or have your son or daughter run with the Clubs’ youth in the Oakland Running Festival’s Kid Fun Run. To read more about the Oakland Running Festival please go to: www.oaklandmarathon.com
Contact us, submit your registration fee directly to the Club and we will officially register you for the Oakland Running Festival as a member of our team.
